Premium Burger hette ursprungligen Prime Burger Foodtruck, och höll hemma i Mariefred. Trucken rullar numera i Stockholm, och i slutet av 2025 tog de dessutom över Flipp Burgers kiosk på Ringvägen i närheten av Skanstull i Stockholm – som går under namnet Premium Burger & Street Food. Vi besökte den lilla kiosken och möttes av fyra köttburgare, två vegetariska burgare och bl.a. sallader, wraps och en tunnbrödsrulle. Vi beställde en Big Bite Cheese med trippel cheddar, silverlök, pickles, senasp och ketchup samt en Spicy BBQ Deluxe med dubbel cheddar, fäskost, inlagd chili, silverlök, spicy dressing och BBQ-sås. En meny med pommes frites och en läsk kostade vanligtvis 159 kronor, men under lunchen var menyerna generöst prissatta till 119 kronor.
Tyvärr så gav inte själva burgarna någon vidare premiumkänsla. Briochebrödet hade bara rostats på utsidan och inte på insidan, och klibbade ihop med toppingsen och osten. Brödet var dessutom torrt och smuligt, och hade svårt att hålla ihop under måltidens gång. De dubbla 80-gramsköttpuckarna hade en väldigt försiktig stekyta, och bjöd inte heller på särskilt mycket smak. På Big Bite Cheese hade de dessutom lagt in några tomatskivor, och även om de inte störde allt för mycket så tog det bort fokus från att vara en enkel cheeseburgare. Vi gillade att de hade hackat picklesen, men de var alldeles för salta. Här var det den stora mängden ost som gjorde den till den bättre burgaren av de två. Spicy BBQ Deluxe hade en smakbild som krockade med sig själv, då den söta BBQ-såsen nästan skar sig mot den surstarka chilin. Pommes fritesen var tunna gatukökspommesfrites som inte smakade så mycket heller.
Tyvärr så var prissättningen det enda riktigt positiva med Premium Burger, för trots namn som premium och deluxe i namnet och menyn så gav inte själva burgarna någon vidare premiumkänsla.

Premium Burger were originally called Prime Burger Foodtruck, and were based in Mariefred. The truck frequents food markets around in Stockholm nowadays, and at the end of 2025 they also took over Flipp Burgers’ kiosk on Ringvägen near Skanstull in Stockholm – which goes by the name Premium Burger & Street Food. We visited the small kiosk and were met with a menu of four beef burgers, two vegetarian burgers plus salads and wraps. We ordered a Big Bite Cheese with triple cheddar, silver onions, pickles, ketchup and mustard, as well as a Spicy BBQ Deluxe with double cheddar, cream cheese, pickled chilli, silver onions, spicy sauce and BBQ sauce. A menu with fries and a soft drink usually costs 159 SEK (16.5 USD), but during lunch the menus were generously priced at 119 SEK (12.5 USD).
Unfortunately, the burgers themselves didn’t really give off a premium vibe. The brioche buns were only toasted on the outside and not on the inside, and they stuck together with the toppings and cheese. The buns were also dry and crumbly, and had a hard time holding up during the meal. The double 80-gram patties had a very light crust, and didn’t offer much flavour either. On the Big Bite Cheese, they had also added some tomato slices, and even though they didn’t really get in the way, they took away from the focus of it being a simple cheeseburger. We did like that they had chopped the pickles, but they were way too salty. Here, it was the large amount of cheese that made it the better burger of the two. The Spicy BBQ Deluxe had a flavour profile that clashed with itself, as the sweet BBQ sauce almost fought against the sour and spicy chilli, creating a contrast in flavours. The fries were thin street food fries that didn’t taste of much.
Unfortunately, the pricing was the only really positive thing about Premium Burger, because despite the names premium and deluxe in the name and on the menu, we didn’t find any of that in the burgers themselves.
